This year's chingay's theme is to DIY. I used some ego bag to make my very 1st costume of my own. This is also my 1st time making clothings..
I used 2 ego bag to make this skirt.. its easy. it only took me about 30 minutes to sew them (lining - all handmade. no use of sewing machine).
I added a layer of translucent fabric as it look really like school skirt.
next, i created these 2 ribbons with no idea what to do with the top (I have totally no experience in making clothes).
this is the top that i made.. i used more than 12 hrs just to make this. it really creates a damn powerful headache to me..
i sewed the ribbons to the sides of the top.
making costume (clothes) is fun! i think i have picked up a new hobby (tiring). all thanks to Chingay 2009 Finale~~~
